Description

Tanchoi is a Banarasi weaving technique in which several coloured weft threads build a dense, finely detailed pattern on a lustrous silk ground. This dupatta is woven in Varanasi in pure tanchoi silk, with an all-over floral weave.

In crimson ruby with gold, it is a heavy dupatta that turns a simple outfit into a festive one, over a plain Anarkali, a lehenga or a kurta set, for festive gatherings, cultural events and weddings.
