Description
Bandhani is the tie-and-dye craft of Gujarat and Rajasthan: tiny points of fabric are pinched and tied with thread before dyeing, and each knot leaves a small dot when it is untied. Jamnagar is one of its best-known centres, and this dupatta is dyed there by hand in gaji silk.
In traditional red and mustard, it pairs with a plain kurta or a lehenga, for Navratri, weddings, festive gatherings and cultural events.
